Amaravati, July 29 (UNI) Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam from Sunday to next Friday, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.
In a daily weather report here, It said light rain is likely at one or two places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the same period.
Strong winds with a speed reaching 30-40 kmph likely at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema from July 30 to August 2.
Rain occurred at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema while dry weather prevailed in Yanam during the last 24 hours. Southwest monsoon has been weak in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema, the report added.
