Central Railway Extends Periodicity of Special Trains to Cater to Summer Passenger Demand from Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur

Mumbai, 22nd June 2023: In response to the surge in passenger demand during the summer season, Central Railway has announced the extension of several special train services. These extensions aim to accommodate the increased number of passengers traveling from Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur. The extended train services will run on the following routes:

  1. Train No.01025 Dadar-Ballia Tri-weekly special, originally scheduled until 30.06.2023, will now operate until 29.09.2023. Similarly, Train No. 01026 Ballia-Dadar Tri-weekly special, initially notified until 02.07.2023, will now run until 29.09.2023.
  2. Train No. 01027 Dadar-Gorakhpur 4-days a week special, initially scheduled until 29.06.2023, will now operate until 30.09.2023. Additionally, Train No.01028 Gorakhpur-Dadar 4-days a week special, previously notified until 03.07.2023, will now run until 30.09.2023.
  3. Train No. 01139 Nagpur-Madgaon Bi-Weekly Special, originally planned until 01.07.2023, will now operate until 30.09.2023. Similarly, Train No. 01140 Madgaon-Nagpur Bi-Weekly Special, initially scheduled until 02.07.2023, will now run until 01.10.2023.
  4. Train No. 01435 Solapur-Mumbai Weekly Special, previously notified until 04.07.2023, will now operate until 25.07.2023. Correspondingly, Train No. 01436 Mumbai-Solapur Weekly Special, initially scheduled until 28.06.2023, will now run until 26.07.2023.
  5. Train No. 01437 Solapur-Tirupati Weekly Special, originally planned until 30.06.2023, will now operate until 28.07.2023. Similarly, Train No. 01438 Tirupati-Solapur Weekly Special, previously notified until 29.06.2023, will now run until 27.07.2023.
  6. Train No. 01127 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Balharshah Weekly special, initially scheduled until 27.06.2023, will now operate until 26.09.2023. Likewise, Train No. 01128 Balharshah–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Weekly special, previously notified until 28.06.2023, will now run until 27.09.2023.
  7. Train No. 02101 Dadar-Manmad Superfast special, originally planned until 30.06.2023, will now operate until 30.09.2023. Similarly, Train No. 02102 Manmad-Dadar Superfast special, initially scheduled until 30.06.2023, will now run until 29.09.2023.
  8. Train No. 01066 Dadar-Dhule Superfast special, previously notified until 01.07.2023, will now operate until 29.09.2023. Correspondingly, Train No. 01065 Dhule–Dadar Superfast special, initially scheduled until 30.06.2023, will now run until 30.09.2023.
  9. Train No. 01439 Pune–Amravati special, originally planned until 02.07.2023, will now operate until 30.07.2023. Similarly, Train No. 01440 Amravati–Pune special, previously notified until 03.07.2023, will now run until 31.07.2023.
  10. Train No. 05064 Mumbai-Siwan special, originally scheduled until 11.06.2023, is now extended to run until 25.06.2023. Likewise, Train No. 05063 Chapra–Mumbai special, initially notified until 09.06.2023, will now run until 23.06.2023.
  11. Train No. 01189 Pune–Ajni special, originally planned until 14.06.2023, will now operate until 28.06.2023. Correspondingly, Train No. 01190 Ajni–Pune special, previously notified until 15.06.2023, will now run until 29.06.2023.
  12. Train No. 01117 Mumbai-Danapur special, initially scheduled until 18.06.2023, will now operate until 29.06.2023. Similarly, Train No. 01118 Danapur-Mumbai special, previously notified until 19.06.2023, will now run until 30.06.2023.
  13. Train No. 02188 Mumbai-Rewa special, originally planned until 30.06.2023, will now operate until 29.09.2023, running every Friday. Correspondingly, Train No. 02187 Rewa-Mumbai special, initially scheduled until 29.06.2023, will now run until 28.09.2023, operating every Thursday.
  14. Train No. 02131 Pune-Jabalpur special, originally planned until 26.06.2023, will now operate until 25.09.2023, running every Monday. Likewise, Train No. 02132 Jabalpur-Pune special, initially scheduled until 25.06.2023, will now run until 24.09.2023, operating every Sunday.

It is important to note that there will be no changes in the timings, halts, or composition of the above-mentioned special trains.
