Prospective users can check for service availability through the Jio website, the My Jio app, or by getting in touch with Jio customer support. Once you confirm the service’s availability in your area, you can initiate a new connection through a missed call to 60008-60008, the Jio website, the My Jio app, or by visiting your nearest Jio Store. Upon successful registration, Jio will notify you as soon as the service is ready in your locality. Once confirmed, your Jio AirFiber connection will be swiftly delivered, complete with a WiFi router, 4K Smart Set-Top Box, voice-activated remote, and an outdoor unit, installed on your terrace or rooftop.
It’s worth noting that Jio is offering this new connection at no additional cost, with an installation service fee of Rs 1,000, which is waived for those who opt for an annual plan. Moreover, users have the convenience of monthly payments through credit/debit card-based EMI while still enjoying the benefits of an annual plan.
Jio has introduced six Jio AirFiber plans, categorized into AirFiber and AirFiber Max plans. The AirFiber plans, priced at Rs 599, Rs 899, and Rs 1199, offer internet speeds of up to 100 Mbps and include access to over 550 digital channels and 14 OTT apps. The top-tier Rs 1199 plan sweetens the deal with complimentary subscriptions to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and JioCinema Premium.
On the other hand, the AirFiber Max plans, priced at Rs 1499, Rs 2499, and Rs 3999, deliver blazing internet speeds of up to 1Gbps and offer the same additional benefits as the AirFiber plans, although Jio AirFiber Max will only be accessible in specific areas.
