Snapchat has announced a new feature that allows users to add links to their public profiles. Users can now navigate to their public profile, click on “edit,” and select the “Website or Linktree” option to add their Linktree or any other URL of their choice.
Previously, only brands and Snap Stars, popular creators who are part of a special program, were able to include links in their profiles. However, with the recent update, all public accounts can now showcase their other profiles on Snapchat using the Linktree integration.
TechCrunch reports that Snap is specifically integrating with Linktree, which offers better visibility for Snapchat profiles on its service. This integration enables users to include any URL they desire, but Linktree provides enhanced visibility for Snapchat profiles.
Furthermore, creators can leverage the link-in-bio tool to display their Snapchat profile on their Linktree page. This is done through a social icon and a button that reads “Add me on Snapchat” or any other customized phrase, allowing users to easily connect and engage with the creator’s Snapchat content.
In addition to the new feature, Linktree is offering a 3-month free trial of Linktree Pro to all Snapchatters. This trial allows users to explore the advanced features and capabilities of the Linktree platform.
