Powering Tomorrow: BLive’s Vision for a USD 5 Million Boost

In a strategic move to further enhance its technological capabilities and drive business expansion, BLive, India’s pioneering multi-brand electric vehicle platform, is actively seeking to raise USD 5 million within the next six months. CEO and co-founder Samarth Kholkar expressed confidence in the strong investor interest surrounding BLive, hinting at a potential funding-related announcement in the coming months.

Having successfully secured just under USD 2 million over time, BLive’s decision to raise additional capital is fueled by the company’s commitment to investing in technology and talent. Kholkar emphasized the pivotal role of technology in BLive’s operations, citing the need to leverage the latest advancements, including blockchain, to scale up the business from its current 10X capacity to an ambitious 100X.

BLive has set its sights on doubling its revenue to approximately Rs 100 crore by FY25, with a profitability target within the next 12 months. Kholkar highlighted the integral role of a robust tech platform in achieving this ambitious goal, emphasizing its importance in propelling BLive’s revenue growth.

The CEO noted that BLive’s revenue trajectory would be significantly influenced by its strategic use of technology. He mentioned that the company already possesses the necessary business levers, including a strong market presence and a compelling product lineup.

In terms of fundraising, Kholkar revealed that interest is pouring in from green funds and climate tech funds, not only within India but also from the US and European markets. Additionally, players in the automotive industry are recognizing BLive’s contribution to democratizing the automobile space, viewing it as a potential international success story rather than just a case study in India.

BLive, recognized as India’s first multi-brand EV platform, offers a diverse range of electric vehicle products and services through its digital platform. The company’s approach includes an omnichannel experience for buyers, combining an online e-commerce store with premium experience stores across India.
