Online travel agency EaseMyTrip has rolled out new discounts on flight ticket bookings, providing users with an opportunity to save on their travel expenses. Nishant Pitti, the CEO and co-founder of EaseMyTrip, made the announcement via the social media platform X. According to Pitti, travelers can now unlock these discounts by applying the promotional codes ‘NATIONFIRST’ or ‘BHARATFIRST’ during the booking process.
“Utilize the discount codes NATIONFIRST or BHARATFIRST on EaseMyTrip for enhanced savings,” urged Pitti in his social media post.
Screenshots shared by Pitti showcased that by entering these discount codes, users can enjoy discounts ranging from Rs 600 to Rs 700 on their flight bookings through the EaseMyTrip portal.
This move comes shortly after Prashant Patti, another co-founder of EaseMyTrip, declared the suspension of all Maldives flight bookings due to derogatory posts against Prime Minister Modi by Maldives politicians. Patti expressed his desire for Ayodhya and Lakshadweep to become prominent international tourist destinations.
“Our company is entirely homegrown and made in India. In response to the controversy surrounding Maldives politicians’ posts about PM Modi’s visit to Lakshadweep, we have decided to refrain from accepting any bookings for the Maldives. Our aim is to promote Ayodhya and Lakshadweep as international destinations,” stated Prashant Patti.
Following this decision, various Maldives travel agents have appealed to EaseMyTrip to reconsider and resume flight bookings to the Maldives. The Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators emphasized that tourism is vital to the Maldives’ economy, referring to it as the “lifeblood” of the nation.
EaseMyTrip’s latest offer of discounts aims to attract more users to its platform and enhance the overall travel experience for its customers.
