Vistara Airlines has expanded its international flight offerings by introducing direct flights between Mumbai and Frankfurt, Germany. This strategic move aims to enhance travel connectivity and convenience for passengers flying between the two prominent cities. The inaugural flight took off from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport on November 15, 2023, signaling the commencement of this new air route.
Direct Connectivity with Vistara’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner:
Operated by Vistara’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, the direct flights between Mumbai and Frankfurt are scheduled six times a week. This initiative is part of Vistara’s commitment to providing top-notch services and expanding its global reach. The airline’s CEO, Vinod Kannan, highlighted the success of Vistara’s existing direct flights to London Heathrow and the growing demand for Indian airlines connecting to key destinations in Europe.
Flight Schedule:
The flight schedule ensures regular connectivity between the two cities, catering to the needs of both business and leisure travelers. The flights are scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Mumbai to Frankfurt route, numbered UK 0027, departs at 13:00 IST and arrives at 17:30 local time. The return flight, UK 0028, takes off from Frankfurt at 20:20 local time and lands in Mumbai at 09:10 IST the following day.
Vistara’s European Expansion:
