Jeh Aerospace Unveils Hyderabad Manufacturing Hub with Eye on Global Aerospace Resilience

Aerospace and defence manufacturing startup Jeh Aerospace has unveiled its state-of-the-art manufacturing hub in Hyderabad, marking a significant expansion for the company. The facility, inaugurated on January 23, is poised for further growth with the capacity to extend up to 160,000 square feet, offering comprehensive manufacturing solutions to the aerospace and defence industry.

This milestone comes on the heels of Jeh Aerospace’s successful funding round, which secured $2.75 million (approximately Rs 23 crore) in strategic investment from General Catalyst. The round also witnessed participation from industry stalwarts, including former Airbus India CEO and MD Dwarakanath Srinivasan and former Boeing India President Pratyush Kumar, both contributing as angel investors.

Founded by Vishal R Sanghavi, former Chief Operating Officer at Tata Boeing Aerospace, and Venkatesh Mudragalla, former senior executive at Tata Sikorsky Aerospace Ltd, Jeh Aerospace specializes in delivering manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain management solutions to the global aerospace and defence industry across all tiers—from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to tooling manufacturers.

The newly inaugurated manufacturing hub is designed to revolutionize the supply chain experience for global aerospace customers, leveraging vetted supplier networks that meet or exceed global quality standards. The company’s commitment extends beyond providing a physical space, aiming to reshape the aerospace and defence supply chain globally.

Sanghavi emphasized that the facility is more than just a physical space; it signifies a transformative step toward building a more robust and adaptable aerospace supply chain. The overarching goal is to enhance industry capabilities and resilience, aligning with the evolving needs of the aerospace and defence sectors.
