Air India to Introduce Daily Direct Service Connecting Mumbai and Bhuj

Air India, India’s premier global airline, is set to bridge the gap between Mumbai and Bhuj with a new daily direct service starting from March 1, 2024. The introduction of this route comes as a response to the long-standing demand from local residents for improved connectivity between the two cities.

Operated by an A320 family single-aisle aircraft, flight AI 601 will depart from Mumbai at 0705 hrs, reaching Bhuj at 0820 hrs. The return flight, AI 602, will take off from Bhuj at 0855 hrs and land in Mumbai at 1010 hrs, providing a seamless and comfortable connection for passengers.

The strategic timing of the flights is designed to accommodate both business and leisure travelers, offering a reliable and efficient transportation option between Mumbai and Bhuj. Additionally, the new service aims to facilitate convenient international connections, including destinations in the UK, North Americas, Dubai, and Singapore. It will also serve as a gateway to around 20 cities in the domestic sector.

Bookings for these flights have opened today, providing travelers with the flexibility to secure their seats through various channels. Interested passengers can make reservations via Air India’s official website (www.airindia.com), the mobile app, and travel agents, including online travel agents.
