Accio Robotics Raises $1.8 Mn in Pre-Series A Funding to Revolutionize Warehouse Automation

Bengaluru – Accio Robotics, a leading warehouse robotics startup, has successfully secured $1.8 million in its recent Pre-Series A funding round. The round was co-led by BIG Capital, Unisync Angels, and Daniel Fitzgerald, with participation from existing backers including Roots Ventures and Impaqt Robotics’ founder Anuj Bihani.

The startup, founded by Pranav Srinivasan and Tuhin Sharma, specializes in warehouse automation solutions and has developed a robotics system poised to revolutionize order picking processes within warehouses. The newly acquired funding will be utilized to strengthen its technology and product team, establish channels for international growth, and deploy more robots.

Accio Robotics is set to globally launch and showcase its products next month, marking a significant step in its journey to automate time-consuming and cost-intensive processes, particularly in order picking. The startup has already made substantial strides in the Indian subcontinent, having partnered with the Indian Navy and Mahindra Logistics since its inception in 2022.

In a statement to Inc42, Pranav Srinivasan highlighted the startup’s commitment to industrial capability and deployability, aiming to address gaps in warehouse processes through automation. The association with Mahindra Logistics has generated positive momentum, with Accio actively deploying robots within their facilities.

Tuhin Sharma, discussing the growth plans for the upcoming financial year (FY25), emphasized the startup’s strategic global expansion across the Middle East, APAC region, Australia, Europe, and the US. The focus will be on targeted market deployments and providing robust post-deployment support and maintenance for their robots.

Accio Robotics had previously raised $430,000 in funding from 100X.VC, CIO Angel Network, and several angel investors. In the competitive warehouse automation market, the startup faces direct competition from GreyOrange, a robotics firm that secured $135 million in December last year. GreyOrange specializes in AI-based robotic systems designed to automate routine tasks in warehouses and fulfillment centers for major ecommerce and retail companies.

The funding round positions Accio Robotics to further its mission of transforming warehouse automation, with global expansion and product launches on the horizon.
