Xiaomi’s Electric Revolution: Unveiling the Modena Electric Car

Xiaomi has officially ventured into the electric car segment with the launch of its Modena electric car in China. The sleek electric sedan is presented in two variants – one equipped with lidar technology and another without. Powerful Performance: Under the Hood of the Modena Electric Car

Breaking down the powertrain options, the RWD variant, Rear XL, boasts a single electric motor generating 295bhp, ensuring a dynamic driving experience. On the other hand, the AWD variant impresses with a dual-motor setup – a 295bhp electric motor on the front XL and a robust 368bhp electric motor on the rear XL, combining to deliver an impressive total power output of 663bhp.

Revolutionary Battery Technology: The Core of Modena’s Power

The Modena electric car is equipped with a BYD battery pack, specifically an LFP unit. For the top-tier trims featuring larger battery packs, Xiaomi turns to NMC battery packs from CATL. This choice contributes to the car’s substantial weight, ranging from 1,980 kg for the base model to 2,205 kg for the high-end variant.
