Discount Range: Rs 6-8 Lakh on Toyota Hilux When the Hilux was initially launched in March 2022, the entry-level model was priced at Rs 33.99 lakh. However, a year later, Toyota reintroduced the Hilux at a reduced starting price of Rs 30.40 lakh, offering customers a significant discount of Rs 3.59 lakh. While the entry-level Hilux Standard 4WD MT received this price cut, Toyota increased the prices of the top-spec High trim by Rs 1.35 lakh for the manual variant and Rs 1.10 lakh for the automatic variant, setting them at Rs 37.15 lakh and Rs 37.90 lakh, respectively. After speaking with several dealers, we confirmed that the minimum discount on the Hilux is approximately Rs 6 lakh, with some outlets even offering discounts of up to Rs 8 lakh on higher variants. However, it’s important to note that these discounts are offered at the dealer level and may vary depending on the dealer, location, and inventory.
Discounts on Isuzu V-Cross: Up to Rs 2.5 Lakh The Isuzu V-Cross 4WD MT, the direct rival to the Toyota Hilux, starts at Rs 23.82 lakh, with the top-end 4WD AT Prestige variant priced at Rs 27.36 lakh. Customers interested in the V-Cross Prestige can avail discounts of around Rs 2.5 lakh at most outlets, further adding to the appeal of this vehicle.
Reduced Price Gap: Hilux vs V-Cross Considering the available discounts on both models, the price gap between the top-spec Hilux 4WD AT and the Isuzu V-Cross Prestige, which was initially around Rs 10 lakh, narrows down to a minimum of Rs 5 lakh on-road for most variants.
