Toyota Hilux Offers Exciting Discounts of Up to Rs 6 Lakh, Making it More Affordable and Attractive!

Toyota Hilux Receives Incredible Discounts of Over Rs 6 Lakh, Making it an Irresistible Choice for Buyers!

The Toyota Hilux, a lifestyle pickup truck, is now available at enticing discounts from Toyota dealers. Known for its niche appeal in the Indian market, the Hilux was originally positioned at the higher end of the segment, with prices ranging between Rs 30.40 lakh and Rs 37.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Since its launch in March 2022, the Hilux has already sold approximately 1,300 units, showcasing its popularity among customers. While the Isuzu V-Cross is also a contender in the same segment, it is priced considerably lower than the Hilux.

Huge Discounts on the Toyota Hilux Customers can now enjoy a minimum discount of Rs 6 lakh on the Hilux at most outlets. Additionally, higher variants come with even greater benefits, depending on inventory availability. It’s worth noting that the Isuzu V-Cross is also available with discounts of around Rs 2.5 lakh at most outlets, providing customers with attractive options in this segment.

Discount Range: Rs 6-8 Lakh on Toyota Hilux When the Hilux was initially launched in March 2022, the entry-level model was priced at Rs 33.99 lakh. However, a year later, Toyota reintroduced the Hilux at a reduced starting price of Rs 30.40 lakh, offering customers a significant discount of Rs 3.59 lakh. While the entry-level Hilux Standard 4WD MT received this price cut, Toyota increased the prices of the top-spec High trim by Rs 1.35 lakh for the manual variant and Rs 1.10 lakh for the automatic variant, setting them at Rs 37.15 lakh and Rs 37.90 lakh, respectively. After speaking with several dealers, we confirmed that the minimum discount on the Hilux is approximately Rs 6 lakh, with some outlets even offering discounts of up to Rs 8 lakh on higher variants. However, it’s important to note that these discounts are offered at the dealer level and may vary depending on the dealer, location, and inventory.

Discounts on Isuzu V-Cross: Up to Rs 2.5 Lakh The Isuzu V-Cross 4WD MT, the direct rival to the Toyota Hilux, starts at Rs 23.82 lakh, with the top-end 4WD AT Prestige variant priced at Rs 27.36 lakh. Customers interested in the V-Cross Prestige can avail discounts of around Rs 2.5 lakh at most outlets, further adding to the appeal of this vehicle.

Reduced Price Gap: Hilux vs V-Cross Considering the available discounts on both models, the price gap between the top-spec Hilux 4WD AT and the Isuzu V-Cross Prestige, which was initially around Rs 10 lakh, narrows down to a minimum of Rs 5 lakh on-road for most variants.

Both models come equipped with diesel engines as standard. The higher-priced Hilux boasts a powerful 204hp, 2.8-liter diesel engine with an impressive 500Nm of torque. On the other hand, the V-Cross Prestige features a smaller 150hp, 350Nm, 1.9-liter diesel engine. Both trucks offer rugged off-road capabilities and a similar features list and safety kit, with the Hilux having an advantage of seven airbags compared to the V-Cross’ six. Update: Statement from Toyota India

In response to certain media reports about the Toyota Hilux being offered at highly discounted prices, Toyota India officially clarifies that the reports are incorrect. The company continues to adhere strictly to the officially announced price list, which ranges from Rs. 30,40,000 to Rs. 37,90,000/- (ex-showroom). Toyota expresses gratitude towards its customers for their overwhelming response to the Hilux and looks forward to their continued love and appreciation for the Toyota brand, thanks to the vehicle’s versatility, capability, and comfort in any terrain.
