Skoda India Slashes Prices for Slavia and Kushaq Models: Introduces Exciting Slavia Matte Edition

In a bid to add a dash of festive cheer and celebrate the upcoming season, Skoda Auto India has unveiled exciting updates for its popular models, the Slavia and Kushaq. The Czech automaker’s Indian subsidiary has introduced new pricing for these vehicles, making them even more attractive to potential buyers. Additionally, to mark the occasion, Skoda has introduced the all-new Slavia Matte Edition, complete with striking features and aesthetic enhancements.

New Pricing Offers Festive Delight

Skoda Auto India has decided to spread joy by announcing revised pricing for the Slavia and Kushaq models. For this festive season, the Slavia now starts at an enticing price of Rs 10.89 lakh, while the Kushaq begins at a similarly appealing Rs 11.09 lakh. These revised price points are aimed at making these outstanding vehicles accessible to a broader range of customers during the festive season.

Petr Šolc, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, shared his thoughts on the introduction of the new pricing, saying, “Our product offensive is aimed at welcoming more customers into the Škoda family and coincides with the festive spirit in the country. It has always been our endeavor to provide our customers with the safest family cars and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with our products and services. These festive offerings and enhancements in our products deliver on these fronts and offer fantastic value to our customers.”

Substantial Price Reduction

Before these updates, the Slavia’s starting price was set at Rs 11.39 lakh, while the Kushaq compact SUV began at Rs 11.59 lakh. With these revisions, the Slavia’s starting price has been lowered to Rs 10.89 lakh, making it even more accessible. The Kushaq will also start at the attractive price of Rs 10.89 lakh, ensuring that prospective buyers can experience the thrill of owning a Skoda vehicle without breaking the bank.

Enhanced Comfort and Convenience Features

To elevate the ownership experience, Skoda has introduced new comfort and convenience features for both the Slavia and Kushaq models. Notable additions include electric seats for the driver and co-driver, a segment-first illuminated footwell area, and an updated 25.4 cm infotainment screen with Škoda Play Apps. These vehicles now offer wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a subwoofer in the boot. Additionally, the Kushaq Monte Carlo variant will also receive electric seats and footwell illumination.

Introducing the Slavia Matte Edition

Adding an extra layer of excitement to the festivities, Skoda Auto India introduces the all-new Slavia Matte Edition. This special edition is presented in the captivating Carbon Steel paint color, boasting a matte finish for a unique and eye-catching appearance. The Slavia Matte Edition also features door handles and ORVMs finished in high-gloss black, enhancing its overall visual appeal. Importantly, this edition inherits the impressive features of the top-spec model, including the newly added enhancements.

Unchanged Powertrain Options

Under the hood, the Slavia Matte Edition retains its impressive powertrain options. Buyers can opt for the 1.0-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine, delivering 114 bhp of power and 178 Nm of torque. Alternatively, for those seeking an extra dose of performance, the 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine remains available, producing an exhilarating 150 bhp and 250 Nm of torque.
