Renault’s 2024 Lineup: Redefining Affordability and Innovation in Indian Automobiles

Renault, the renowned French car manufacturer, has taken a significant step in the Indian automotive landscape by unveiling the 2024 editions of its popular models – Kwid, Triber, and Kiger. This strategic move aims to provide budget-conscious consumers with compelling alternatives to Maruti favorites like WagonR, Ertiga, and Brezza.

Renault Kwid: The Affordable City Hatchback

Renault’s best-selling entry-level hatchback, the Kwid, has received a makeover in its 2024 edition. With three new dual-tone exterior body color options, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the RXL (O) variant, and the introduction of the RXL (O) Easy-R AMT variant, the Kwid positions itself as the most affordable automatic car in the Indian market. Priced between ₹4.69 lakh and ₹5.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the Kwid boasts over 14 standard safety features, claiming the best safety in its segment.

Renault Triber: The Compact and Versatile MPV

Following the Kwid, the Triber, Renault’s compact MPV, now features a driver seat armrest, power-fold ORVM, a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, and a wireless charger. The RXT variant includes a rearview camera and rear wiper, while the RXL variant offers rear AC vents with dedicated controls. LED cabin lamps and a PM2.5 air filter enhance the interior. Priced between ₹5.99 lakh and ₹8.74 lakh, the Triber is now the most affordable automatic 7-seater in the market.

Renault Kiger: The Stylish Sub-4-Meter SUV

In the fiercely competitive sub-4-meter SUV segment, the Kiger remains a top-seller. The 2024 edition introduces semi-leatherette seats, a leatherette steering wheel, auto-fold ORVM, bezel-less autodim IRVM, and a red brake caliper for the Turbo edition. Variants like RXT (O) and RXZ Energy offer advanced features, including cruise control. The addition of a rear seatbelt reminder enhances safety. Priced from ₹5.99 lakh to ₹10.99 lakh, the Kiger caters to diverse customer preferences.

Finally: A Strategic Move by Renault

Renault’s launch of the updated Kwid, Triber, and Kiger underscores the brand’s commitment to competitiveness and relevance in the Indian automotive sector. With improved features, enhanced safety measures, and competitive pricing, these models are poised to capture the attention of a broad customer base, solidifying Renault’s standing in the Indian market.
