Nexon Electric Year-End Bonanza: Tata Motors’ Discounts Set to Spark EV Revolution

In a bid to electrify the market as the new year approaches, Tata Motors has announced significant discounts on its Tata Nexon Electric range. The discounts, applicable until the end of November, cover both the Prime and Max variants of the previous-generation Nexon Electric, offering a mix of cash discounts and exchange bonuses.

For the Max variant, Tata Motors is providing a hefty discount of Rs 2.20 lakh, coupled with a Rs 50,000 exchange bonus. Similarly, the Prime variant comes with a cash discount of Rs 1.50 lakh and an additional Rs 50,000 exchange bonus. It’s important to note that these discounts may vary across Tata Motors dealerships, and interested buyers are advised to contact their local dealers for precise details. Notably, the new-generation Tata Nexon is now included in the discount spree, with a cash discount of Rs 35,000 on the Nexon Electric Facelift.

The new-generation Tata Nexon Electric, priced between Rs 14.74 lakh to Rs 19.94 lakh ex-showroom Delhi, continues to impress with its three variants—Creative, Fearless, and Empowered—available in seven distinct colors. The 5-seater SUV offers versatility with two battery options, boasting claimed ranges of 325 km for the 30 kWh battery and an impressive 465 km for the 40.5 kWh battery. Charging options cater to various needs, enhancing the vehicle’s convenience.

In terms of features, the Nexon Electric sets a high standard with a 10.5-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto connectivity, a premium 9-speaker JBL sound system, automatic AC control, cruise control, front ventilated seats, wireless mobile charging, and a single-pane sunroof. Safety remains a priority, with six airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, and both front and rear parking sensors.

Competing directly with the Mahindra XUV400 Electric in the Indian market, the Tata Nexon Electric also faces competition from the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona Electric.
