MV Agusta Unveils the Exclusive LXP Orioli Adventure Tourer at EICMA Show

Amid the grandeur of the ongoing EICMA show in Milan, Italy, MV Agusta has taken the spotlight with the introduction of the limited edition LXP Orioli Adventure Tourer, set to be produced in a mere 500 units. While official launch details are yet to be revealed, industry insiders hint at a potential release by the end of 2025. This exceptional motorcycle, paying homage to Dakar Rally icon Eddie Orioli from the 1990s, features distinctive branding on each engine tank unit.

MV Agusta’s bold entry into the Adventure Tourer segment positions the LXP Orioli as a formidable contender, showcasing a more potent engine than the Himalayan 450. The motorcycle’s aesthetic allure is enhanced by a full LED lighting setup, including DRL, a LED handlebar, and striking design elements such as a muscular fuel tank, split-style sheet, and a tall wind visor.

Equipped with modern features, the MV Agusta LXP Orioli incorporates Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity, call and SMS alerts, email notifications, and a 7-inch fully digital TFT display. The bike also integrates a riding app offering Mobisat geolocation, an anti-theft system, and navigation capabilities. Notable features include four riding modes, five traction control settings, and a raincoat for versatile performance in various terrains.

Powering the Adventure Tourer is a robust 931cc DOHC liquid-cooled engine, delivering an impressive 122bhp at 10,000 rpm and peak torque of 102Nm at 7,000 rpm. The suspension system features a 48mm trellis frame with upside-down forks at the front and a link-actuated gas-charged rear shock absorber. Braking duties are expertly managed by a 320mm Brembo Stylema four-piston disc brake at the front and a 265mm single disc brake with two-piston calipers at the rear. Safety features include traction control, a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU), ride by wire, dual-channel ABS, and an anti-lock braking system.
