In a monumental achievement, Mercedes-Benz India has surpassed all previous records by selling an impressive 5412 units in the last quarter, marking its most successful quarterly sales performance since its entry into the Indian market in 1994. This remarkable feat not only reinforces Mercedes-Benz’s stronghold as the leading luxury car brand in India but also underscores its unwavering commitment to delivering excellence in every aspect of its operations.

Key Statistics:

The surge in sales represents a significant milestone for Mercedes-Benz India, with the previous highest quarterly sales recorded at 4698 units back in October-December 2017. The brand’s annual financial year tally now stands at an impressive 18,123 units, showcasing robust growth and sustained demand for its premium offerings. With a diverse portfolio comprising 19 models, including the prestigious AMG and Maybach series, Mercedes-Benz continues to set the benchmark for luxury automotive excellence in the Indian market.

Notably, the brand’s electric vehicle (EV) segment witnessed remarkable growth, with sales soaring by an impressive 130% compared to the same period last year. Despite offering only three battery-powered EVs – the EQB, EQE SUV, and the EQS 580 – Mercedes-Benz India emerged as the top luxury brand in EV sales, reflecting a growing preference for sustainable mobility solutions among Indian consumers.

Santosh Iyer, CEO & MD of Mercedes-Benz India, emphasized the brand’s unwavering commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, stating, “We are thrilled to achieve this historic milestone, which underscores our relentless pursuit of excellence and customer-centric approach. The overwhelming response to our EV offerings further reinforces our position as a trailblazer in the luxury automotive segment.”

The success story of Mercedes-Benz India extends beyond sales figures, with SUVs accounting for nearly 60% of its total sales volume. Despite impending model transitions, iconic vehicles like the E-Class saloon continued to captivate consumers, reaffirming the brand’s timeless appeal and enduring legacy in the Indian automotive landscape.

Looking ahead, Mercedes-Benz India remains poised for continued growth and expansion, with plans to introduce its acclaimed AMG Speed City concept and expand its network to 10 new cities in the coming year. As the brand continues to innovate and elevate the luxury driving experience, its unwavering commitment to excellence ensures that every journey with Mercedes-Benz is nothing short of extraordinary.
