It’s reported that the next-gen Alto 800 will be built on a hard deck platform, featuring striking updates such as redesigned headlamps, tail lamps, and a sporty front grille bumper. Most notably, the car’s dimensions, both in terms of length and width, are expected to see significant enhancements.

Trim Options and CNG Availability: Maruti will make the new Alto 800 available in three distinct trims: STD, L, and V. Additionally, the L variant will offer the convenience of a CNG kit, catering to those seeking an eco-friendly driving experience.

A Palette of Colors: Buyers will have a choice of six vibrant colors to select from: Silky Silver, Uptown Red, Mojito Green, Granite Grey, Solid White, and Cerulean Blue. Furthermore, for those who prefer a more subdued look, six monotone color options will also be on offer: Solid White, Silky Silver, Granite Grey, Sizzling Red, Speedy Blue, and Earth Gold. This diverse range of colors is expected to appeal to a broad spectrum of tastes.

Powerful Performance and Efficiency: Under the hood, the Maruti Alto 800 will house a robust 796 cc BS6 engine paired with a manual transmission. This setup promises remarkable fuel efficiency, delivering an impressive 22.05 km/litre on petrol and an eco-conscious 31.59 km/kg on CNG. With a curb weight of 850, comfortable ground clearance, and a spacious boot, this compact hatchback is designed to excel on Indian roads.

Feature-Rich Interior: Inside the cabin, the Alto 800 aims to offer a delightful driving experience. It will boast a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system equipped with Android Auto, ensuring connectivity and entertainment on the go. Additional features will include keyless entry, front power windows, and a driver-side airbag for enhanced safety. The car will also feature rear parking sensors and ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), contributing to a secure and confident driving experience.

Affordable Pricing: One of the most appealing aspects of the new Maruti Alto 800 is its expected affordability. With an anticipated price tag of up to Rs 3 lakh, this car is set to align perfectly with most budgets. As a point of reference, Maruti’s current Alto 800 STD Opt is priced at Rs 3.39 lakh, while the top-tier Maruti Alto 800 LXI Opt S-CNG is available at Rs 5.03 lakh.
