The year 2024 is poised to be a landmark year for Mahindra Automotive, the country’s leading SUV manufacturer. With an aim to elevate its already soaring sales figures, Mahindra is preparing to roll out four new SUV models that promise innovation, style, and a thrilling driving experience.

Thar 5-door: Expanding the Thar Legacy

Leading the charge is the Thar 5-door, a highly anticipated addition to Mahindra’s lineup. Slated for an early 2024 launch, this variant boasts two extra doors and an additional row of seats, providing a more spacious and versatile driving experience. With a revamped exterior featuring LED headlights, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, and powertrain options mirroring the three-door Thar, the 5-door model is set to make waves.

XUV300 and XUV400 Facelift: A Refreshing Upgrade

Following closely are the facelifted versions of the XUV300 and XUV400. Spotted testing on Indian roads, these sub-compact SUVs are set to hit the market in March 2024. The facelift brings a substantial design overhaul, including new LED headlights, taillights, and an updated front grille. While the exterior gets a makeover, the powertrains are expected to maintain their reliability, ensuring a seamless transition for fans of these popular models.

Bolero Neo Plus: A Rebranded Marvel

Mahindra’s Bolero has long been a best-seller, and the company is set to enhance its lineup with the Bolero Neo Plus. This extended model, available in 7 and 9 seat layouts, is strategically aimed at tier 2 cities and rural areas. Powered by a tuned-down 2.2L diesel engine, producing approximately 120 bhp and paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, the Bolero Neo Plus is poised to continue the Bolero legacy in style.

XUVe.8 (XUV700 Electric): Electrifying the Roads

The grand finale to Mahindra’s SUV lineup for 2024 is the electrified version of the XUV700, the XUVe.8. While the exact launch date remains undisclosed, expectations are high for a late 2024 release. Boasting a futuristic design with LED highlights, a closed-off front grille, and 18-inch alloy wheels, the XUVe.8 aims to make a bold statement on the electric SUV scene.

Equipped with an 80 kWh battery pack, an all-wheel-drive configuration, and a dual-motor setup generating 230 PS and 350 Nm of torque, the XUVe.8 is Mahindra’s foray into the electric vehicle arena. Positioned to compete with the Tata Harrier and Safari EVs, the XUVe.8 represents Mahindra’s commitment to sustainable and cutting-edge automotive technology.
