Kia Seltos ADAS Model Dominates Bookings: Redefining Safety and Innovation

Kia India’s 2023 Seltos SUV has taken the Indian automotive market by storm, amassing an impressive 50,000 bookings within just two months of its launch. The overwhelming response signifies the vehicle’s exceptional appeal among Indian consumers. Notably, Kia reports that the 2023 Seltos receives an average of 806 bookings daily, with a remarkable 77 percent of these bookings attributed to the top-tier model.

What sets this Seltos apart and fuels its popularity is the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) model, chosen by nearly half of all customers who have made reservations. With an introductory price of Rs 10,89,900, the Kia Seltos Facelift introduces cutting-edge safety and tech features that challenge competitors and elevate the driving experience.

Safety Takes Center Stage:

Kia India has significantly enhanced the Seltos’s safety quotient by incorporating Level 2 ADAS, taking the total count of advanced driver assistance features to 17. Alongside these active safety features, the Seltos boasts an impressive lineup of 15 passive safety features.

The Seltos’s comprehensive safety package includes six airbags, Forward Collision Warning Assist, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and Hill Assist Control with Electronic Stability Control (ESC). This meticulous attention to safety sets a new benchmark in the mid-size SUV segment.

Powerful Engine Options:

Under the hood, the 2023 Kia Seltos retains the 1.5-liter petrol engine, delivering 115 hp of power and 144 Nm of peak torque. Additionally, a 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine is available, producing 115 hp and 250 Nm of peak torque. A fresh addition to the lineup is the 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, generating an impressive 160 hp of power and 253 Nm of peak torque, surpassing its predecessor by 20 hp and 10 Nm respectively. Kia has equipped this new engine with both a 6-speed Intelligent Manual Transmission (IMT) and a dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Inside the cabin, the 2023 Seltos boasts numerous updates to enhance the driving experience. Features include dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, an 8-inch heads-up display, electronic parking brakes, and sound mood lamps complemented by Bose’s 8-speaker audio system. Ventilated seats, offering eight-way power adjustments, add to the comfort. The vehicle is equipped with a 10.25-inch infotainment system, rounding out its tech-savvy interior.
