Kia Carens: Moss Brown Exits the Scene, Welcoming a Sleek Palette of Six

Kia India has recently made a subtle yet impactful change to the color options available for its popular Carens MPV. The Moss Brown exterior color, once part of the vibrant palette, has been discontinued. As a result, the Carens now presents itself in a sleek array of six paint hues: Intense Red, Imperial Blue, Aurora Black Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, and Glacier White Pearl.

This update comes as Kia continues to refine its offerings to meet the dynamic preferences of the Indian market. The decision to discontinue the Moss Brown color is part of the brand’s strategy to streamline choices while maintaining a focus on the most popular and in-demand options.

Starting at a competitive price of Rs. 10.45 lakh (ex-showroom), the Kia Carens is available in seven variants, catering to a diverse range of customers. The variants include Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury, Luxury (O), Luxury Plus, and the recently introduced X-Line, which entered the market in October at a price of Rs. 18.95 lakh (ex-showroom).

Under the hood, the Carens offers versatility with three powertrain options: a 1.5-litre NA petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The MPV provides a range of transmission choices, including a six-speed manual, six-speed iMT, seven-speed DCT, and an automatic torque converter unit, ensuring a customizable driving experience for consumers.

As Kia India adapts to market demands, the streamlined color options for the Carens enhance the model’s visual appeal while simplifying the decision-making process for potential buyers. The Carens continues to stand out in the MPV segment, offering a blend of style, functionality, and performance.
