Honda’s Luxurious 2023 Gold Wing Tour Now Available in India at Rs 39.20 Lakh

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has officially launched its flagship motorcycle, the 2023 Gold Wing Tour, in India. This luxurious touring bike, which will be available as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), comes with a substantial price of Rs 39.20 lakh (ex-showroom). Prospective buyers can begin booking the Gold Wing Tour, and deliveries are scheduled to commence from October 2023. Honda aims to market this premium motorcycle through its exclusive BigWing Top Line dealerships.

The Gold Wing Tour: Design and Features

The Gold Wing Tour retains its iconic design, characterized by its substantial footprint, robust styling, and a prominent front apron with a large windscreen. Notable design elements include rider lumbar support, an elevated pillion seat, and sleek blacked-out alloy wheels. It also boasts oversized pannier boxes, enhancing its touring capabilities.

In terms of features, the Gold Wing Tour is equipped with a comprehensive LED lighting system and a 7.0-inch full-color TFT display that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This display provides crucial riding, navigation, and audio information. The motorcycle features an electrically adjustable fly screen for personalized wind protection. Other noteworthy amenities include Bluetooth connectivity, dual USB type-C sockets, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), an airbag, and an array of advanced equipment.

Under the Hood: Powertrain Specifications

Powering the Honda Gold Wing Tour is a formidable 1833cc, liquid-cooled, 24-valve, flat six-cylinder engine that churns out an impressive 125 bhp and 170 Nm of peak torque. This potent engine is mated to a smooth 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), which offers a convenient creep forward and back function for effortless low-speed maneuvering.

The Gold Wing Tour doesn’t stop at raw power; it comes equipped with advanced electronics. The Throttle-By-Wire (TBW) system provides riders with four distinct riding modes: Tour, Sport, Econ, and Rain. These modes cater to various riding preferences, ensuring a versatile and enjoyable riding experience.
