Honda Elevate’s Attractive EMI and Downpayment Options Shake Up the SUV Market

The launch of the Honda Elevate has brought a breath of fresh air to the Indian compact SUV segment. Based on the popular Honda City sedan, this compact SUV offers a compelling combination of style, spaciousness, a refined petrol engine, and an array of modern features. In particular, the top model of the Elevate lineup, the ZX variant, is poised to disrupt the market, potentially impacting sales of established contenders like the Mahindra Scorpio, Toyota Innova, and Hyundai Creta.

Unpacking the Pricing Dynamics

The ex-showroom price of the Honda Elevate’s flagship model, the ZX variant, is set at Rs 16 lakh. However, it’s important to note that the on-road price may vary based on the specific state and city of purchase. This comprehensive on-road price encompasses various factors such as registration charges, road tax, insurance, and additional fees.

Affordable Ownership with EMI and Downpayment Options

One of the most compelling aspects of the Honda Elevate is the accessibility it provides to potential buyers. If you opt for financing the Elevate ZX, you can expect a manageable monthly Equated Monthly Installment (EMI) of around Rs 31,000 over a loan term of 5 years. This calculation takes into account a competitive 9.5% annual interest rate and a 20% downpayment based on the ex-showroom price. This translates to a loan amount of Rs 12.8 lakh, equivalent to 80% of the ex-showroom pricing.

The Honda Elevate is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine, generating 121 PS of power and 145 Nm of torque. It delivers an impressive mileage of 15.31 kmpl for the manual transmission variant and 16.92 kmpl for the CVT automatic model. The Elevate offers four distinct variants: SV, V, VX, and the range-topping ZX.

The SUV boasts a state-of-the-art 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, providing seamless support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Safety is a top priority, with features like six airbags, hill start assist, lane watch assist, vehicle stability assist, rear parking camera, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, auto-emergency braking, and auto high beam assist.

The Elevate is also available in a wide spectrum of colors, with seven monochromatic options and three dual-tone variations.

In a Nutshell

The Honda Elevate represents a feature-rich compact SUV designed to provide a comfortable and stylish driving experience. Its competitive pricing, combined with an array of attractive features, positions it as a strong contender in the Indian SUV market, giving potential buyers a cost-effective and modern alternative for their commuting needs.
