Honda City Prices Elevated in India; Enhanced with New Safety Features

Latest Updates Include Standard Airbags and Advanced Instrumentation Across Variants

Honda Cars India has unveiled a significant update to its vehicle lineup, encompassing enhanced safety features and revised pricing across models like the Amaze, City, City e: HEV, and Elevate. Among these updates, the iconic Honda City sedan has undergone a notable price adjustment, accompanied by the introduction of advanced safety technologies.

Honda City Left Front Three Quarter

The latest pricing structure positions the Honda City sedan with a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 12.08 lakh, marking an increase of up to Rs. 37,200 across various trim levels. The City sedan, available in five variants – SV, V-Elegant, V, VX, and ZX – now offers consumers a heightened level of safety and sophistication.

In addition to the price adjustments, the refreshed Honda City now features a comprehensive safety suite, including six airbags as standard, seatbelt reminders for all passengers, a 4.2-inch coloured display for the instrument panel, an eight-speaker music system, and a rear sunshade across all variants.

Under the hood, the fifth-generation Honda City continues to be powered by a reliable 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering a robust performance with a maximum power output of 119bhp and a peak torque of 145Nm, mated to either a six-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.
