Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Unveiling the Power-Packed Motorcycle at an Affordable Price From Rs. 1.27 Lakhs

Hero MotoCorp has recently launched the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V motorcycle, offering customers a range of options to choose from. The bike is available in three different variants, namely the Standard, Connected, and Pro models. With an ex-showroom starting price of Rs. 1.27 lakhs, the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V aims to provide an attractive package for motorcycle enthusiasts.

In terms of aesthetics, the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V retains its original design but incorporates a few notable changes. These include updated graphics, new color options, a revised fuel tank, an under cowl, a rear grip, a lowered headlamp with new finlets, and a new seat that offers both single and split options. The bike offers a sporty and dynamic appearance that is sure to turn heads on the road.

The Standard variant of the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is available in Blazing Sports Red and Matt Slate Black color options. The Connected variant features a stylish Matt Slate Black color, while the range-topping Pro variant offers the choice between Neon Shooting Star and Matt Slate Black colors.

One of the key highlights of the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is its performance. Hero MotoCorp claims that this motorcycle is the fastest in its segment, boasting best-in-class acceleration and drag timing. Powering the Xtreme 160R 4V is a 163.2cc, air-oil cooled, 4-valve engine, which generates an impressive output of 16.9 PS at 8500 RPM and 14.6 Nm at 6500 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox, ensuring smooth gear shifts and optimal performance.

According to Hero MotoCorp, the Xtreme 160R 4V achieves a 0-60 km/hr acceleration in just 4.4 seconds, making it a quick and agile machine on the road. While they claim that it is also the fastest in terms of 0-100 km/hr acceleration and top speed, they have not disclosed specific data in their official specifications.

To ensure a comfortable and controlled ride, the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V features a 37 mm inverted KYV front fork suspension and a 7-step adjustable monoshock rear suspension by Showa. Braking is taken care of by a 276 mm front petal disc and a 220 mm rear petal disc, providing reliable stopping power.

The bike offers a seat height of 795 mm, a ground clearance of 165 mm, a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters, and a kerb weight of 145 kg. These specifications contribute to a balanced and maneuverable riding experience.

In terms of features, the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V does not disappoint. It comes equipped with an all-LED setup, including position lamps, low beam and high beam lights, a tail lamp, a signature tail lamp, and winkers. The instrument cluster provides useful information such as Bluetooth status, battery health status, service alerts, gear position, ABS/engine malfunction alerts, as well as call, SMS, and missed call notifications.

Furthermore, the Hero Connect 2.0 technology offers a range of advanced features. These include remote immobilization, geo-fencing, theft alerts, battery removal notifications, SOS alerts, low fuel alerts, over-speeding alerts, topple alerts, in-app navigation services, real-time vehicle tracking, the option to share location, driving reports, turn-by-turn navigation, and the ability to find your vehicle through the app.
