Hero MotoCorp has introduced two new exciting colour options for its electric scooter, the Vida V1 Pro. The addition of Cyan and Black paints expands the range of choices for potential buyers. Now, the Vida V1 Pro is available in a total of five colours, including White, Orange, Red, Cyan, and Black. Despite the new colour options, the scooter’s design remains unchanged, featuring a modern aesthetic with an apron-mounted headlight, dual-tone finish panels, a step-up saddle, and 12-inch alloy wheels.
In a shift from its previous offering, Hero MotoCorp now exclusively provides the Pro variant of the Vida V1 in India. The Pro version boasts impressive features, including an acceleration time of 3.2 seconds from zero to 40kmph, a 3.94kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 110km, a top speed of 80kmph, and four ride modes: Eco, Ride, Sport, and user-customizable. The electric motor delivers a peak output of 6kW and 25Nm of torque, providing ample power for urban commuting.
The Hero Vida V1 Pro comes packed with advanced features to enhance the riding experience. It boasts full-LED lighting, an OTA-enabled seven-inch colour TFT display with a touchscreen interface, keyless operations, cruise control, and a combined braking system. The scooter’s hardware features telescopic front forks, a rear mono-shock, a front disc brake, and a rear drum brake, ensuring a comfortable and safe ride. The vehicle is backed by a five-year/50,000km warranty, providing peace of mind to the buyers. Additionally, the battery comes with a three-year/30,000km warranty as standard.
In the Indian market, the Hero Vida V1 Pro competes with other popular electric scooters like the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and Ola S1 series. Priced at Rs. 1,45,900 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), the Vida V1 Pro offers a comprehensive package for electric scooter enthusiasts. This price includes a portable charger, FAME II subsidy, and state government subsidy. However, insurance, road tax, and registration charges are excluded from the price.
