In a testament to its global appeal, Hero motorcycles are making waves in the foreign market, with a remarkable 74.52 percent growth in exports in January 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. The HF Deluxe model emerges as the hero in this success story, witnessing an impressive 90 percent surge in global demand.

Export Highlights: A Strong Start to 2024

January 2024 saw Hero exporting 12,658 units globally, showcasing the brand’s growing popularity beyond Indian borders. The HF Deluxe model takes the lead with an astounding 90 percent increase in sales, holding a substantial 36.64 percent share in the company’s export list.

Model-wise Export Report: A Diverse Lineup Making an Impact

  • Hank: 3,551 units exported, marking a remarkable growth of 116.13 percent.
  • Splendor: Exports declined by 13.64 percent to 1,672 units.
  • Glamor: Sales surged by 140.18 percent to 1,614 units.
  • XPulse 200: Experienced higher demand, with sales increasing by 55.72 percent to 735 units.

The export list for January 2024 also included 260 units of Maestro, 96 units of Pleasure, 90 units of Passion, and 2 units of Karizma.

Hero Maverick 440: A New Entrant in the Premium Segment

Adding to the excitement, Hero has recently launched the Hero Maverick 440, a premium motorcycle that stands as a testament to the company’s commitment to innovation. Developed in collaboration with Harley, the bike is priced competitively between Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned to rival motorcycles like Triumph Speed 400, Honda CB300R, Bajaj Dominar 400, KTM 390 Duke, Apache RTR 310, BMW G 310 R, and Harley-Davidson X440, the Maverick 440 embodies Hero’s pursuit of excellence in the higher-end motorcycle segment.
