Hero Mavrick 440 – Unveiling the Top 5 Features of Hero Motocorp’s Latest Powerhouse

Hero Motocorp has recently introduced the much-anticipated Hero Mavrick 440, a motorcycle that draws inspiration from the Harley-Davidson X440. While the base design remains rooted in the Harley-Davidson model, Hero Motocorp has added its touch, making the Mavrick 440 a distinctive offering in the market. Here are the top 5 things you need to know about this new entrant:

1. Variants & Price: The Hero Mavrick 440 is available in three variants – Base, Mid, and Top. Starting at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the ‘Base’ variant, the pricing extends to Rs 2.14 lakh (ex-showroom) for the ‘Mid’ spec version. The fully-loaded ‘Top’ variant, priced at Rs 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom), justifies its cost with additional features, including meticulously crafted machined engine fins.

2. Features: The top-spec Hero Mavrick 440 boasts an array of features, including all-LED lighting technology, a fully digital instrument cluster, and connected tech with E-sim connectivity features. These features enhance the overall riding experience and bring modernity to this powerful machine.

3. Powertrain: Under the hood, the Mavrick 440 shares the same 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine as the Harley-Davidson X440. Generating 26bhp at 6,000rpm and 36Nm of torque at 4,000rpm, this powerhouse ensures an exhilarating ride. The 6-speed gearbox with the Slip and Assist clutch system adds to the smooth and dynamic performance.

4. Suspension & Tyres: While maintaining the same chassis as the Harley-Davidson X440, the Hero Mavrick 440 opts for a more conventional 43mm telescopic suspension setup at the front. The rear features a twin shock setup. Unlike its counterpart, the Mavrick 440 sports 17-inch wheels at both ends, with front and rear tires measuring 110/70 R17 and 150/60 R17, respectively.

5. Braking: The Hero Mavrick 440 is equipped with a robust braking system, featuring a 320mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear. The dual-channel ABS unit further enhances braking performance, ensuring safety and control during rides.

In conclusion, Hero Motocorp has initiated bookings for the Hero Mavrick 440 with a nominal deposit of Rs 5,000. Deliveries are scheduled to commence on April 15. While the ‘Base’ variant may seem basic for its near Rs 2 lakh price tag, opting for the ‘Mid’ and ‘Top’ variants provides a more compelling package with advanced features and enhanced specifications.
