Launched in 2012, the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 was a popular choice for those seeking an affordable hatchback. With a 0.8-liter petrol engine, the Alto 800 provided a budget-friendly option for many. The final recorded prices ranged from Rs 3.54 lakh to Rs 5.13 lakh, offering choices between manual transmission and CNG.

Honda Jazz

Another casualty in the lineup is the Honda Jazz, introduced in 2009. With a 1.2-liter petrol engine, the Jazz offered a mix of style and performance. The discontinuation decision was made despite its final recorded prices ranging from Rs 8.01 lakh to Rs 10.32 lakh, with options for both manual transmission and CVT.

Honda WR-V

The Honda WR-V, making its debut in 2017, will also take its final bow in 2023. Featuring options for a 1.2-liter petrol engine with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 1.5-liter diesel engine with a 6-speed manual transmission, the WR-V catered to the diverse preferences of SUV enthusiasts. The last recorded price spanned from Rs 9.11 lakh to Rs 12.31 lakh.

Honda City 4th-generation

A stalwart in the sedan segment, the fourth-generation Honda City, launched in 2014, will be discontinued in 2023. Powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine, the City garnered a loyal fan base over the years. The final recorded price ranged from Rs 9.50 lakh to Rs 10 lakh, paving the way for the fifth-generation Honda City.

Nissan Kicks

In the competitive SUV segment, the Nissan Kicks, introduced in 2019, will also fade into the sunset in 2023. Offering choices between a 1.5-liter petrol engine with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 1.3-liter turbo-petrol engine with options for both manual and CVT, the Kicks aimed to capture the market. The last recorded price varied from Rs 9.50 lakh to Rs 14.90 lakh.

As these models prepare for their final curtain call, automotive enthusiasts and loyal owners alike bid farewell to cars that have left an indelible mark on the roads of India.
