Ducati Unveils Aggressive Pricing for Streetfighter V4 and V4 S, Redefining Sportbike Standards

In a bold move, Ducati India has dropped the curtain on the much-anticipated Streetfighter V4 and V4 S prices ahead of their official launch on March 12, 2024. Priced at Rs 24.62 lakh for the Streetfighter V4 and Rs 28 lakh for the V4 S, both ex-showroom India, these sportbikes are poised to redefine the Indian motorcycling landscape. Retail sales will kick off on the launch day, with deliveries slated to begin in the following weeks.

Major Updates on the Ducati Streetfighter V4:

The new Ducati Streetfighter V4 boasts several significant updates, including V-shaped LED DRL and LED headlamps inspired by the Panigale V4. Borrowing the fuel tank from the Panigale V4 provides better grip and a larger 16.5-liter capacity. The side covers are revamped for a sharper look, and a stylish Gray Nero color option is now on the palette.

Repositioned Swingarm Pivot on the Streetfighter V4 S:

Taking performance to the next level, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S introduces a repositioned swingarm pivot, lifted by 4mm for enhanced stability and precision around corners, tailoring anti-squat action to perfection.

Powerful Engine and Advanced Features:

Under the sleek exterior, both the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S pack a punch with a 1,103cc V4 Desmosedici Stradale engine, delivering 205bhp at 13,000rpm and 123Nm of peak torque at 9,500rpm. The 6-speed gearbox with a dual-dimensional quickshifter ensures a seamless riding experience. The V4 features adjustable Showa Big Piston front forks and a monoshock, while the V4 S is equipped with semi-active Öhlins suspension, lightweight Marchesini wheels, and the updated SmartEC 2.0 interface.

Competition and Riding Modes:

Entering the arena, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S are set to challenge bikes like the BMW S 1000 R and Triumph Speed Triple RS. With four riding modes, a new ride map, dedicated gear calibration, and advanced braking performance with dual-channel ABS, these bikes ride on Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa 2 tyres.
