‘Cruise with Ease,’ Hyundai Unleashes Feature-Packed Creta SUV on Indian Roads

Hyundai Motor India, the country’s second-largest carmaker, has set the stage for a formidable presence in the SUV segment with the launch of the highly awaited Hyundai Creta. The Korean automaker, a close competitor to Maruti Suzuki, has strategically positioned the new Creta as a game-changer in the Indian automobile market, offering an unrivaled blend of features, safety, and performance.

Un Soo Kim, MD and CEO of Hyundai Motor India, highlighted the strong connection that the Creta brand has established with the Indian audience, with over nine lakh people experiencing it in the country. He emphasized the Creta’s adaptability to diverse terrains and topographies, underlining its popularity and significance in the SUV segment.

The new Creta boasts an array of safety features, including an advanced Level 2 ADAS safety suite and a powerful 1.5-liter Turbo GDI engine. Kim expressed confidence in the vehicle’s ability to redefine the SUV landscape in India, citing its unparalleled convenience and a blend of active and passive safety features.

Kim reaffirmed Hyundai’s commitment to maintaining the Creta brand’s strong legacy and stated, “We are confident that the new Hyundai Creta will not just uphold but elevate the strong legacy of the brand, remaining the most sought-after SUV in the country.”

The launch event showcased Hyundai’s focus on introducing cutting-edge technology, segment-defining safety, and exhilarating performance in the new Creta. With an emphasis on providing comfort and convenience-oriented features, Hyundai positions the Creta as the “Undisputed Ultimate” in the SUV segment.

The new Creta, embodying Hyundai’s global “sensuous sportiness” concept, presents a sporty yet substance-packed design. With over three decades of presence in India’s automotive market, Hyundai aims to deliver the “ultimate SUV experience.” The vehicle’s exteriors have undergone a makeover, featuring a distinctive front profile, new Signature Horizon LED positioning lamps, DRLs, black chrome parametric radiator grille, and quad beam LED headlamps.

Hyundai has also bet big on advanced technology in the new Creta, offering a fun-to-drive performance, uncompromised safety, and a bold design catering to tech-savvy customers. The interior complements the commanding exterior, featuring cockpit-inspired designs, seamless integration of curvilinear screens, and advanced infotainment and display clusters.
