Audi India Rings in 2024 with a Price Adjustment: Up to 2% Increase Across the Range

As the new year approaches, Audi India has made a significant announcement that will impact its entire model range. The luxury car manufacturer has revealed a price hike of up to two per cent, set to take effect from January 1, 2024. This move comes as Audi aims to address the challenges posed by escalating input and operational costs.

Audi’s decision to increase prices across its model range reflects the brand’s commitment to maintaining a sustainable business model and ensuring long-term profitability. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, emphasized the importance of achieving profitability while providing the best possible products and services to customers.

In a recent development, Audi introduced the Platinum Edition of the S5 Sportback last month, with prices starting at Rs. 81.57 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition, coupled with a complimentary 10-year Road-Side Assistance (RSA) program launched simultaneously, added value to the brand’s offerings. The RSA program is applicable to all cars booked from October 1, 2023, showcasing Audi’s dedication to enhancing the overall ownership experience for its customers.

Dhillon further explained the rationale behind the price correction, stating, “Due to rising supply-chain-related input and operational costs, we have effected a price correction across our model range, maintaining the brand’s premium price positioning.” He emphasized that the adjustment is aimed at ensuring sustainable growth for Audi India and its dealer partners, with a commitment to minimizing the impact on customers.

As Audi India navigates the dynamic automotive landscape, this price hike is a strategic move to adapt to economic realities while upholding the brand’s premium positioning. The company remains dedicated to providing a seamless and exceptional experience for its customers, even in the face of challenges posed by external factors.
