Aprilia enthusiasts in India have reason to rejoice as the Italian motorcycle manufacturer has listed its much-anticipated adventure bike, the Aprilia Tuareg 660, on its official website for the Indian market. This listing signals the imminent arrival of the Tuareg 660 on Indian shores, promising enthusiasts an exhilarating off-road riding experience in the coming months.

Despite the absence of a clear launch timeline, the appearance of the Tuareg 660 on Aprilia’s India website hints at the brand’s preparations for its introduction into the Indian market. Following the success of the RS 457, Aprilia aims to captivate adventure seekers with its versatile and high-performance Tuareg 660, further expanding its premium motorcycle portfolio in the country.

Powering the Aprilia Tuareg 660 is a potent 660 cc parallel-twin engine, similar to the one found in the RS 660 and Tuono 660 models. This engine churns out 79 bhp of power and 70 Nm of torque, delivering robust performance both on and off the road. Equipped with a 6-speed gearbox and an optional quick-shifter, riders can expect seamless gear shifts and enhanced control during their adventures.

Designed to conquer challenging terrains, the Tuareg 660 boasts advanced suspension components, including 43 mm Kayaba USD forks at the front and a fully adjustable Kayaba monoshock at the rear. With a generous travel of 240 mm at both ends, this adventure bike ensures a comfortable and stable ride over various surfaces. Additionally, the 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels offer optimal traction and maneuverability in diverse off-road conditions.

In terms of features and electronics, the Tuareg 660 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of rider aids, including multiple riding modes, switchable ABS, traction control, and APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) technology. Riders can stay informed and connected with the intuitive full-color TFT display, providing essential ride data and navigation assistance.

Sporting a rugged and aggressive design, the Aprilia Tuareg 660 exudes off-road prowess with its dirt-bike-inspired styling cues. From the distinctive boomerang-shaped single-piece seat to the tall and upswept exhaust, every aspect of the Tuareg 660’s design reflects its adventurous spirit and capability. With a dry weight of 187 kg and an 18-liter fuel tank capacity, this adventure bike is poised to conquer long-distance journeys with ease.

As anticipation builds for the official launch of the Aprilia Tuareg 660 in India, enthusiasts eagerly await further details regarding pricing and availability, gearing up to embark on unforgettable off-road adventures with Aprilia’s latest offering.
