Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles (JYM) introduces refreshed Jawa Perak alongside updated 42 Bobber with enticing features and revamped aesthetics.
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles (JYM) has unveiled the updated Jawa Perak in India, alongside the revamped 42 Bobber model, featuring fresh color options and subtle modifications. The 2024 Perak now sports a striking matt black/matt grey dual-tone color scheme, adorned with ‘Perak’ badges on the tank, distinguishing it from its predecessors. Notable improvements include a new quilted tan seat and repositioned footpegs, enhancing rider comfort with a thoughtfully redesigned rider triangle.
Despite these aesthetic changes, the technical specifications of the 2024 Perak remain consistent with its predecessor. Powered by the reliable 334 cc liquid-cooled engine, it delivers a robust performance, boasting 29.49 bhp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 30 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Jawa asserts that the Perak maintains its best-in-class acceleration and braking prowess. Equipped with large ByBre disc brakes and dual-channel ABS by Continental, complemented by a slip and assist clutch and a newly introduced seven-step preload adjustable mono-shock, the Perak ensures a smooth and controlled ride.
In addition to the Perak, Jawa introduced updates to the 42 Bobber, featuring diamond-cut alloy wheels and two new captivating color schemes – Mystic Copper and Jasper Red. The 2024 42 Bobber is priced competitively, starting at Rs. 2.09 lakh and reaching up to Rs. 2.29 lakh for the Black Mirror variant. Boasting a comprehensive array of modern features including LED lighting, digital instrumentation, USB charging, adjustable seat, and various luggage options, the 42 Bobber promises a delightful riding experience.
