2024 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fiber Edition: Design, Specs, and More

Bajaj Auto recently unveiled the 2024 Pulsar 125 Carbon Fiber Edition in India, featuring significant cosmetic and feature upgrades. Here are the top five highlights of this new edition.

Top Changes

The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fiber Edition sports new graphics on the fuel tank, headlight cowl, belly pan, and tail cowl, adding a fresh and dynamic look. It also comes with a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and a USB charging port, enhancing its modern appeal. Additionally, it is available in both single-seat and split-seat variants, offering riders more choices.

Design

The design of the 2024 Pulsar 125 retains its classic styling, a hallmark since the original Pulsar was introduced. The bikini fairing, tank shrouds, and pointy tail section give it a sporty appearance. Despite these elements, the Pulsar 125’s design feels somewhat dated compared to its contemporary competitors like the Raider 125 and the Xtreme 125R.

Engine Specifications

Under the hood, the new Pulsar 125 Carbon Fiber Edition is powered by a 124.4cc, single-cylinder engine that delivers 11.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 10.8Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. This engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox, ensuring a smooth and responsive riding experience.

Cycle Parts

As an entry-level commuter bike, the Pulsar 125 features basic yet reliable hardware. It is equipped with telescopic forks at the front and gas-charged twin springs at the rear, providing a comfortable ride. Braking duties are handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear, ensuring adequate stopping power.

Price and Competition

The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fiber Edition is priced at Rs. 92,833 (ex-showroom). In the market, it faces competition from models like the Hero Xtreme 125R and the TVS Raider 125. Despite the competition, the Pulsar 125 continues to be a popular choice due to its balanced mix of style, performance, and affordability.
