As the world’s largest tractor producer by quantity, Mahindra Tractors introduces this innovative range on three OJA platforms, bringing subcompact, compact, and small utility models to the forefront.
Introduction of 7 New Tractor Models in the Indian Market
Mahindra takes a significant leap with the introduction of seven new tractor models on the compact and small utility platforms for the Indian market. Derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Ojas,’ signifying a ‘powerhouse of energy,’ this tractor range stands as Mahindra’s most ambitious global light tractor platform. Developed through a collaboration with engineering teams from Mahindra Research Valley, Mahindra AFS Research and Development Center, and Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery, the OJA series represents a Rs 1200 crore investment.

The OJA tractor range is set to make its initial debut in the Indian market before expanding to North America, ASEAN, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, Europe, and the SAARC region. Hemant Sikka, President of the Farm Equipment Sector at Mahindra & Mahindra, expressed that the OJA series is a powerhouse of energy designed to empower progressive farmers. Mahindra aims to capture 25% of the global tractor industry with this technology, exploring new markets in Europe and ASEAN.
