Bhosari MLA Mahesh Landge announced the much-anticipated sixth edition of the Indrayani River Cyclothon, scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 3, from 6 am to 9 am. Recognized as the world’s largest free cycle rally, the event will kick off from Bhosari’s Gavjatra Maidan, marking a significant moment for cycling enthusiasts and environmental advocates alike.
Beyond the thrill of cycling, the Indrayani River Cyclothon stands as a champion for sustainable transportation, emphasizing the critical importance of river preservation and fostering a strong sense of community among participants.

Anticipating a massive turnout, Landge expects over 25,000 cyclists to participate in an event geared towards pedaling for a cleaner, healthier environment. The cyclothon will offer three distinct categories, catering to participants of various skill levels.
The 5km route is designed for amateur cyclists, kids, and senior citizens, covering Gavjatra Maidan – Landge Petrol Pump – Indrayaninagar – Gavjatra Maidan. The 15km route targets intermediate cyclists, traversing Gavjatra Maidan – Jay Ganesh Samrajya – Kranti Chowk – Spine City Mall Chowk – Gavali Matha – Gavjatra Maidan. For seasoned cyclists, the 25km route encompasses Gavjatra Maidan – Jay Ganesh Samrajya – Kranti Chowk – Sane Chowk – Krushna Nagar – Spine City Mall Chowk – Gavali Matha – Gavjatra Maidan.
