Kia has officially unveiled the 2024 Kia Carnival, and it has undergone a significant transformation in its facelifted avatar. This eagerly anticipated MPV was recently leaked during a TVC shoot but now stands before the world with an all-new look. The 2024 Kia Carnival is set to make its way to the Indian market next year, and it’s bringing some exciting changes with it.
A Fresh Face
The most striking aspect of the 2024 Kia Carnival is its revamped styling. It departs from its predecessor’s design language with a completely new front and rear profile. Kia has certainly shifted its design direction, and the results are impressive.
At the front, the new Carnival boasts a fresh set of headlights with elongated daytime running light (DRL) strips that seamlessly extend into the grille. The grille itself has been redesigned, appearing more premium and slightly larger than the outgoing model’s grille. The front and rear bumpers have also been updated to harmonize with the new design. The rear of the Carnival features a sleek tail light cluster that elegantly wraps around the redesigned tailgate. While the side profile remains largely unchanged, there are new alloy wheel designs on offer, adding to the visual appeal.

Interior Updates
Although Kia hasn’t yet revealed images of the Carnival facelift’s interior, it is expected to incorporate the new curved screen and fingerprint recognition features seen in the latest Kia models introduced internationally. The interior is likely to showcase updated color tones and an array of additional features. Kia plans to offer the MPV in multiple seating configurations, catering to diverse customer preferences.
Hybrid Power
One of the most significant updates for the 2024 Kia Carnival is the introduction of a new hybrid engine. This hybrid powertrain will consist of a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 227 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. Kia will also continue to offer petrol and diesel engine options based on regional market demands. In the Indian market, the diesel version is expected to arrive first via the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route in the coming year.
The 2024 Kia Carnival’s facelift promises to bring a breath of fresh air to the MPV segment and piques the curiosity of Indian consumers awaiting its arrival.
